Shoreline shenanigans

Bobbing up and down on the wind

The only excitement I’ve seen

Was under water

Felt quite good

Sinking down

Sofa all around

Should I have run

Away from fun

just to hold onto

familiar ones.

Want to stop being tethered

To the shore

Cut the rope

And sail away

In no particular direction

Rather than sit in the harbour

And rot into dereliction.
