A tripartite lesson

A tripartite lesson.

Difficult it is for me
To  let go of this possibility
But let it go
I know I must
Or I shall dampen
Dull then rust
Be burned repeatedly
By a lack of trust
And be reduced to embers.

Difficult it is for you
For me to not be like them too
but I must make
this show of no
or over the cliff
our sense will go
contorted in a dance
of to and fro
until we trip and fall to earth.

Difficult it is to make
Decisions, pick the path to take
But make a choice
Is what I've done
So hear my voice
Give up this one
Move on with your escapades
Neither has won
Yet this game has reached its conclusion.

2015: STOP THE MADNESS!!

Over commercialisation

Loss of rationalisation

Engineered entertainment

born of exploitation

Low budget programming

spawned from crass generalisations

“Tesco law”

and coke with my name on

Adult “Dick and Dom”

Not one meaningful song

A showbiz circus train

everyone’s riding along

Someone bang the gong

and STOP THE MADNESS.

How did it all go so wrong?
